Holly Schramm became a Registered Yoga Teacher in March of 2007 after completing her course work at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She began teaching the day after her graduation and has now landed at her beloved Yoga House. Holly is extremely grateful that it was the Yoga House that was close to her Linden Hills home. The Yoga House is the foundation of her practice. She began her Primary Series practice with Michelle Lynn and did teacher trainings and workshops with many of the guest artists here. Holly completed Ashtanga Primary Series teacher trainings here with both David Swenson and Manju Jois. Our own Chris Balsar was her mentor during her “RYT” certification process and Sydney Holly has been her primary inspiration as a Vinyasa teacher. She was a professional modern dancer for 15 years. She enjoys lots of gross motor activity such as softball (on the same team for 30 years), skiing, rollerblading, biking, singing etc. Holly is launching her youngest of two boys off to college. Her husband (Jeff Schramm) is a chiropractor in St. Louis Park. What really connected for Holly and yoga is the totality of the practice (mind, body and spirit). This is evident in her teaching. Yoga is home for Holly.
