A guided Vinyasa Power Yoga class

This is an introduction to the yogic lifestyle, a beautifully infused 2 hour power yoga class followed by half hour-guided meditation. This class will challenge and encourage students of all levels. With an emphasis on alignment and instructions on becoming in-tune with your bodies needs this class gives the student practical and useful tools for a life of yoga. With a guided meditation filled with visualization and relaxation techniques the student will walk away feeling peaceful, vibrant and healthy.

About Power Yoga
Power yoga is a vinyasa style of yoga in which one pose is linked to the next by breath. It is a vigorous class and often modeled after poses in AshtangaVinyasa Yoga. Power yoga increases internal heat and focus; it infuses the grace of movement with the strength of stillness.
Tamal has been practicing yoga his whole life. Born and raised in his family's yoga ashram in Hawaii, he has been teaching for the last 10 years. Tamalhas founded Yogaco in Santa Monica (one of the largest yoga studios in Ca). He has produced Kirtan CDs, books and articles on yoga and meditation as well as toured the world teaching yoga. Tamal has been featured on many television stations,yogamagazine'sand websites for his dynamic yoga style and spiritual outlook. Tamal has developed a strong followingnation-wide and internationally. His vigorousvinyasa classes are filled with humor, music, and meditation. His yearly retreats, workshop, and teacher trainings are a way into the life and times of being a modern yogi.
